Submission requirements
When preparing your paper, please ensure that you read the evaluation criteria. You may also want to take a look at our suggestions (which are not mandatory rules) for structuring and writing your paper.
Submitted papers must be unpublished and not under submission elsewhere. Extended versions of workshop papers with DOI by the same authors can be accepted if the submission contains at least 30% new material. There is no restriction on workshop papers without DOI. Any partial overlap with a previously published or concurrently submitted paper must be clearly indicated and described in detail.
By submitting a paper, the authors agree and confirm that:
- Neither this paper nor a version close to it is under submission or will be submitted elsewhere before notification by ECRTS 2020.
- If accepted, the authors will submit a final version of their paper as instructed by the camera ready deadline.
- If accepted, at least one author will provide a full registration by the special registration deadline set in the notification of acceptance, and present the paper at the conference in person as instructed by ECRTS.
Note that authors of accepted papers will be required to submit the LaTeX source code for their camera-ready papers (this is required by our open-access provider LIPics). The version that will appear in the official proceedings will be built from the submitted sources. This serves to be able to provide papers public in non proprietary format in the long term.
Also note that authors of accepted papers with a computational component will be invited to submit their code and/or their data to an optional artifact evaluation process.
Formatting instructions
Submissions must be formatted using the LIPIcs LaTeX style (without any modifications) for A4 paper.
ECRTS 2020 follows a single-blind review process so authors’ names may appear on submissions.
The paper must be self-contained and the content, excluding the bibliography and acknowledgments, must fit in the first 20 pages of the paper. The bibliography and acknowledgments may utilize up to 4 additional pages.

Papers must be submitted electronically by February 6, 2020 (23:59 UTC-12). Note that you may revise your submission at any time up until the submission deadline. No changes or extensions will be permitted after that time.
