Work in Progress Session

Call for papers

Contributions to a special Work-In-Progress (WIP) session of ECRTS'09 are sought. The ECRTS'09 WIP session will be devoted to the presentation of new and on-going projects in real-time systems research and applications. We are especially interested in new and creative ideas and approaches. Contributors to the WIP session will be asked to give a short presentation of their work and prepare a poster for the WIP discussion forum that will be held after the presentations. Accepted submissions will be included in a special ECRTS'09 WIP proceedings that will be distributed to all ECRTS'09 conference participants and available electronically from the Web.

The primary purpose of this session is to provide researchers an opportunity to discuss their evolving ideas and gather feedback thereon from the real-time community at large. Submissions dealing with all aspects of real-time issues are welcome. These include, but are not limited to:

  • A/V streaming with RT constraints
  • Power-aware RT-computing
  • Real-time systems middleware
  • Adaptive systems theory and practice
  • Real-time sensor/actuator networks
  • Real-time mobile computing
  • Real-time wireless communications
  • Automotive electronics
  • WCET Analysis
  • Case-studies
  • Home entertainment networks
  • Embedded operating systems
  • Software engineering
  • Real-time databases
  • RT programming languages
  • Scheduling theory
  • Hardware/software co-design
  • Medical electronics
  • Multimedia and games
  • Reconfigurable embedded systems
