Call for contributions
This year, ECRTS calls for contributions to an industry pitch session. This format provides speakers from industry with the possibility to present their concrete challenges related to real-time systems to the ECRTS community.
For academic researchers, attending the industry pitch session is a perfect opportunity to put their research into the context of industrial needs. For industrial participants, this is a perfect opportunity to make the real-time research community aware of their problems, and thus, to increase the chance of getting assistance and guidance in solving them.
During the industry pitch session, speakers will have 5 minutes to outline their real-time challenge and its engineering context. The session will be followed by a poster session, fostering further in-depth discussion with real-time experts, which is accompanied by a reception. The industry pitches can be made available via the conference website for continued discussion, in a way similar to the WATERS industrial challenges.
Note that there is a special registration rate for the ECRTS Industry day (July 10th) that will feature the opening keynote, technical sessions as well as the interactive session including the industry pitch session.

If you are from industry and would like to submit a pitch, please send the following information to Arne Hamann and Dirk Ziegenbein.

- Current position
- Addressed technical system (e.g. powertrain ECU, manufacturing line, in-flight entertainment system)
- Short description of the challenge (up to 300 words)
Important dates
The deadline for proposals is May 10th, 2019. Please note that there is a selection process in order to cover a large spectrum of use-cases from different domains with the limited available number of slots.
