First-time attendance at a conference where many of the other participants know each other well can be a lonely experience. As in previous years before Covid-19, we will be holding a small reception for the first-timers and a few old-timers on the evening of the workshop day. This will give the newcomers an opportunity to make a few friends and to get to learn a bit about the conference beforehand.
The first-timer reception will start at 17:00 on Tuesday, July 5th, at the same location as the workshops and the conference. More information can be found here. It is open to all ECRTS participants who are attending the conference for the first time in person.
